Abstract
The objectives of this research is to inquire into how ojek (motorcycle taxis secvice) drivers in visitation tourism area in Kudus regency comprehended the concept of “berkah”(God’s prosperity blessing). This research was based on interpretative perspective to religious behaviours such as done by Clifford Geertz. Therefore, this research used qualitative method. This study found that regulations made by the members are for them both when they do their job as ojek drivers and when they mixed with the common society, so they participated indirectly in controlling the society to build their character. Perhaps this reason made them believe that their participation in this organization is a blessing of material quantity and quality of life. It was what they believed as organization blessings. In addition, this research also uncovered new configuration of religious system which appeared after experiencing different modern civilization clashes.
