Abstract
The research questions of this research are: (1) how is the religious behavior of families consisting of different religions followers in Salatiga?; (2) how is the situation (the impact of religious communication) on the falimies with different religions followers in Salatiga. This research using qualitative approach to uncover the communication occured in the families with different religions followers in Salatiga, and the etnometodological model that became the focus, since by this model social behavior can be described as it is. The reseach findings are: (1) the values and symbols communication of each religion followed by the families members to the other different religion did not find complicated understanding; (2) there were not offending when special religious symbols placement were translated into other religions; (3) every individu of the families built a model or process of communication linear with their different belief contact to become individuals respecting the existence of the families members, who have different beliefs.
