TRANSFORMASI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM PASCAREFORMASI: Studi tentang Sekolah Dasar Islam dengan Sistem Integrasi

Abstract

This field study is aimed at elaborating three aspects: the forms of education transformation involving system transformation, value transformation, and process transformation; the process of transformation; the factors causing the transformation. Through qualitative method of which approaches are ethnographic-phenomenology and sociological analysis, there were some significant findings. The first is: globally there are contexts and factors where the globalization and terrorism are assumed as both challenge and opportunity; nationally there is reformation and democratization which let Muslims to access and get opportunity in some aspects’ of life including education; and locally the founders and doers of Islamic education have their own necessities for religious aspect, education, economy, socio-cultural, and political aspects as well. Second, there were many forms of reformations: system transformation found in the structures of institution, learning and human resources; micro Islamic value transformation which emphasizes the indicator of learning outcomes and the graduates, and macro Islamic value transformation which emphasizes Islamic identity; process transformation found in variety of learning process and public positive response toward the existence of this new Islamic institution. Third, there are various ways in understanding the interrogation system of the same end that is Education re-Islamism.
