Abstrac
The purpose of this research is: (1) How is the response of Kudus society to Syariah insurance; (2) What are the main factors which influence the response of Kudus society to Syariah insurance. This research including field research with approach qualitative. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. Result of this research indicate that response of Kudus society to Syariah insurance is very good. The main factors which influence the response is factor endogenous and exogenous. Factor endogenous is including prosperity, mount the earnings, life style and custom. Exogenous factor is products of Syariah insurance, start form and closing limit, mount the premium rate, specific things and draw other, governmental regulation, and other rule or taxation.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan utuk melihat (1) bagaimana respon masyarakat Kudus terhadap asuransi Syariah; (2) Faktor utama apa yang mempengaruhi respon masyarakat Kudus pada asurasi Syariah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan analisa deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa respon masyarakat Kudus terhadap asuransi Syariah sangatlah baik. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi respon adalah faktor endogenous dan exogenous. Faktor endogeneous meliputi kemapanan, jumlah penghasilan, gaya hidup dan kebiasaan. Faktor exogenous adalah produk dari asuransi Syariah dalam hal batas penarikan, tingkat suku bunga premium, daya tarik, aturan pemerintah dan hal lain termasuk pajak.
